The Philips Respironics Foam Pollen Filter is the standard, washable filter designed to protect your machine and your airway from larger airborne particles. Made from durable, dark gray foam, this filter acts as the first line of defense against household dust, pollen, and pet dander.

Regularly cleaning and replacing this filter is critical to maintaining proper airflow pressure and preventing your CPAP motor from overheating or clogging.

• Note: These are not compatible with the DreamStation 1 or DreamStation 2 series.

Usage & Maintenance

• Placement: This filter is the outermost filter on your machine. If you also use a white Ultra-Fine filter, place this gray foam filter on top of the white one.
• Cleaning: Wash this filter every 2 weeks (or weekly in dusty environments) with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinserting.
• Replacement: Replace the filter every 3 to 6 months, or sooner if the foam begins to crumble or tear.
