Usage and Travel Tips:
- Battery Power Management: An S9 machine running with the H5i heated humidifier and a heated tube draws significantly more current (approx. 5 Amps) than the machine alone (approx. 1 Amp). If you are camping off a limited battery bank, consider turning off or detaching your humidifier to dramatically extend your battery life.
- Negative Ground Systems Only: This converter is engineered strictly for use on standard negative ground systems (where the negative terminal of the battery is grounded to the vehicle chassis). Do not use on positive ground electrical setups.
- Engine Cranking: To protect your sensitive medical equipment from sudden electrical surges or voltage drops, disconnect the DC converter from the power outlet before starting your vehicle or boat engine.
