Engineered in collaboration with pediatric pneumologists and neonatologists, the Air Liquide Medical Systems Respireo™ SOFT Baby Vented nasal mask provides gentle non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV) and CPAP therapy for infants. Designed with calibrated exhalation ports for single-limb circuits, it accommodates the unique facial geometry of growing infants without placing harmful pressure on delicate skin or developing facial bone structures.

CPAP & BiPAP Device Compatibility:

Non-Compatible Systems:

• Should not be used on closed ventilator circuits requiring an active external exhalation valve (use the Non-Vented Respireo Baby mask instead).

Care and Maintenance Guidance:

• Daily Cleaning: Disassemble the cushion and tube connection daily. Hand wash in warm water using a mild CPAP cleanser or non-moisturising liquid dish soap.
• Weekly Cleaning: Hand wash the 5-point headgear harness in warm soapy water.
• Drying: Rinse all components thoroughly and allow to air dry completely on a towel out of direct sunlight. Do not place in a dishwasher or clothes dryer.
• Institutional Decontamination: Approved for thermal disinfection and autoclave sterilization up to 12 cycles between patients in clinical settings (headgear and tubing must be replaced per patient).  
• Replacement Schedule: Replace silicone cushions every 1 to 3 months, and complete mask frames/headgear every 6 months or at first sign of wear.
