About the Product
Restore a flexible, quiet, and secure connection to your CPAP setup with the genuine Philips Respironics replacement short tube assembly for the Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask. Over time, the flexible tube or frame clips can wear down, crack, or lose seal pressure. Replacing the entire short tube assembly refreshes the air delivery pathway, restores full 360-degree hose mobility, and maintains effective exhalation venting.
Key Features:
- Vented Elbow with Frame Clips: Features built-in micro exhalation ports that quietly disperse air away from you and your sleeping partner, with integrated clips that snap securely directly into the Wisp mask frame.
- Lightweight, Flexible Short Tube: The 40 cm grey tube absorbs movement and hose drag throughout the night, allowing you to shift positions easily without pulling or dislodging your nasal cushion.
- 360-Degree Swivel Connection: Connects seamlessly to any standard 22 mm main CPAP hose while swiveling continuously to prevent kinked tubing.
- Flexible Routing Options: Allows you to direct the tube downward across the chest or utilize the headgear tube-management loop to route the hose over the top of the head.
Product Specifications:
- Assembly Length: Approximately 40 cm (including elbow and end swivel)
- Tubing Attachment: Standard 22 mm CPAP hose cuff fitting
- Components Included: Short tube, vented elbow, and end swivel cuff
Compatible Mask:
- Philips Respironics Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask (fits both Fabric and Clear silicone frame variants)
- Non-Compatible Masks: Will not fit the Philips DreamWisp Nasal Mask (DreamWisp routes airflow through a top-of-head frame structure and uses a distinct elbow connector).
- Will not fit Philips DreamWear, Wisp Youth, or non-Philips nasal mask systems.
Note: Mask frame, nasal cushion, headgear, and main CPAP tubing are sold separately.
Care and Maintenance Guidance:
- Daily Care: Disconnect the short tube assembly from your mask frame and main CPAP hose. Hand wash daily in warm water using a mild, non-moisturizing liquid soap or specialized CPAP cleaner.
- Rinsing & Drying: Flush fresh water through the short tube and vented elbow to remove skin oils and detergent residue. Hang to air dry out of direct sunlight prior to nighttime reassembly.
- Replacement Schedule: Replace every 3 to 6 months, or immediately if you notice hairline cracks in the plastic elbow, tears along the flexible tubing folds, or loose attachment clips on the mask frame.
