About the Product
Restore full top-of-head mobility and effortless hose detachment to your CPAP setup with the genuine ResMed replacement quick-release elbow for 30i series masks. Positioned at the crown of the head on ResMed’s tube-up mask frames, this swivel elbow connects your main air hose to the hollow frame arms while providing 360-degree rotation to prevent hose tangling and drag throughout the night.
Key Features:
- Quick-Release Side Buttons: Features intuitive side-squeeze tabs that allow you to detach your main CPAP hose from the mask frame in seconds for late-night movement without taking off your headgear.
- 360-Degree Swivel Mobility: Rotates continuously to absorb tube pull and accommodate shift in sleep position, whether you sleep on your side, back, or stomach.
- Top-of-Head Airway Connection: Directs tubing up and away from your chest and face, keeping your line of sight clear and eliminating hose weight on your front.
- Durable Lightweight Polycarbonate: Engineered from clear, medical-grade plastic that withstands frequent daily connection and disconnection without cracking or losing grip.
Compatibility
Compatible Mask Models: Fits all top-of-head frame platforms in the ResMed 30i product line:
- ResMed AirFit™ N30i Nasal Cradle Mask
- ResMed AirTouch™ N30i Nasal Mask
- ResMed AirFit™ P30i Nasal Pillows Mask
- ResMed AirFit™ F30i Full Face Mask
- Non-Compatible Masks: Will not fit standard front-connecting ResMed masks (e.g., AirFit N20, AirFit P10, AirFit F20, AirFit F30, AirFit F40) or top-of-head masks from other brands (e.g, Philips DreamWear or Fisher & Paykel Evora).
What’s Included:
- 1 x ResMed AirFit 30i Series Replacement Quick-Release Elbow
- Note: Mask frame, cushion, headgear, and main air hose are sold separately.
Care and Maintenance Guidance:
- Weekly Cleaning: Disconnect the elbow from the mask frame and main tubing. Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild CPAP cleanser or non-moisturising liquid soap.
- Drying: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and allow to air dry completely on a clean towel away from direct heat and sunlight before reconnection.
- Replacement Schedule: Replace every 3 to 6 months, or immediately if you notice hairline cracks in the plastic housing, worn squeeze tabs, or air leaking around the frame attachment socket.
