The ResMed S8 Hypoallergenic Filter is designed for CPAP users who suffer from hay fever, seasonal allergies, or sensitivity to airborne irritants. While standard filters block larger dust particles, these hypoallergenic filters utilize a dense, fibrous material to capture finer particles, ensuring the air delivered by your device is exceptionally clean.

Sold in a convenient Pack of 2, these filters are an essential maintenance component to protect both your respiratory health and the motor of your ResMed device.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Enhanced Filtration: Specifically engineered to trap fine allergens, pollen, and dust that standard filters might miss.
  • Dual-Textured Design: Features a distinct "two-sided" construction (typically with a blue-tinted side) to maximize particle capture.
  • Device Protection: Prevents debris from entering the CPAP motor, helping to extend the lifespan of your machine.
  • Disposable Convenience: Designed for single use, simply discard and replace when dirty to maintain optimal hygiene.

Compatibility

This filter is designed for use with the following ResMed devices:

  • ResMed S8 Series (e.g., S8 Escape, S8 Elite, S8 AutoSet Spirit, S8 VPAP)
  • ResMed S7 Series
  • C-Series Tango

Usage Instructions

  • Inspect Monthly: Check your filter at least once a month.
  • Replacement: Replace the filter every 1–2 months, or sooner if it appears discolored or blocked.
  • Installation: Insert the new filter into the air inlet. If the filter has a blue-tinted side, ensure the blue side faces out (away from the machine).
  • Do Not Wash: These filters are not washable. Washing them will damage the fibers and reduce effective filtration.
