About the Product
Rediscover freedom of movement and a lighter feel during your sleep therapy with the genuine Fisher & Paykel Brevida Replacement Elbow. As the vital connector linking your Brevida mask frame to your main CPAP hose, this component naturally wears out, stiffens, or loses its rotation over time. Swapping in a fresh elbow instantly eliminates tube drag, helping you maintain a reliable, leak-free seal all night long.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Dual 360° Swivel Rotation: Equipped with two independent rotating swivel points—one at the mask elbow and one at the tube cuff. This allows your CPAP hose to pivot completely freely, preventing the tube from pulling or dislodging your mask when you change sleeping positions.
- Quiet Built-In Venting: Engineered with precision-molded exhalation vent holes that quietly and efficiently diffuse exhaled air and CO₂ away from you and your sleeping partner.
- Designed and manufactured by Fisher & Paykel specifically to guarantee an airtight connection, maximum venting safety, and uncompromised therapy pressure.
⚠️ Important Compatibility Note: This assembly includes the plastic elbow connector. The washable fabric diffuser cover, mask frame, headgear, and silicone cushions are sold separately.
Care and Maintenance Tips:
- When to Replace: Continuous daily movement and routine cleaning can cause plastic connections to loosen, turn brittle, or crack. Sleep specialists recommend replacing your mask elbow assembly every 12 months, or immediately if you notice a drop in pressure or if the swivels no longer spin smoothly.
- Cleaning Instructions: Hand wash the elbow and tube assembly weekly in warm water using a mild, unfragranced liquid soap. Run warm water through the tube and across the exhalation holes to clear out accumulated residue. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drying & Safety: Allow the component to air dry completely out of direct sunlight before reattaching it to your mask frame. Do not use bleach, alcohol, chlorine, or antibacterial soaps, as these chemicals can degrade medical-grade plastics. Never place in a dishwasher.
