About the Product
Restore a secure, leak-free connection to your sleep therapy with the genuine Fisher & Paykel Eson 2 Replacement Elbow. As a vital component of your mask assembly, this angled connector securely attaches your mask frame to the swivel adapter and main CPAP tubing. Over time, regular disassembly or accidental drops can cause plastic parts to crack, wear down, or lose their tight seal, replacing a worn elbow ensures your therapy maintains optimal airflow and structural stability.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Built-In Exhalation Venting: Engineered with precision-molded vent holes that quietly and efficiently diffuse exhaled air and CO₂ away from you and your sleeping partner for a peaceful night.
- VisiBlue™ Placement Guidance: Features integrated blue structural highlights. These distinct color-coded cues visually guide you, making it clear where the separate diffuser filter snaps into place for a foolproof assembly.
- Tool-Free, Quick Assembly: Designed for easy daily maintenance, this elbow effortlessly snaps directly onto the mask frame and seamlessly accepts your swivel adapter without requiring any force or tools.
- Premium Medical-Grade Construction: Fabricated from high-durability, lightweight acrylic that withstands the physical demands of nightly movement and routine sanitisation.
⚠️ Important Component Note: This product includes the plastic elbow connector only. The rotating swivel adapter and the washable fabric diffuser cover are separate parts and are sold separately. This elbow is designed strictly for the Eson 2 series and is not compatible with the original first-generation grey Eson mask.
Care and Maintenance Tips:
- When to Replace: Inspect the connection points regularly during cleaning. It is recommended to replace your mask elbow every 12 months, or immediately if the plastic becomes discolored, develops hairline cracks, or fails to snap tightly onto the frame.
- Cleaning Instructions: Wash the elbow weekly alongside your mask frame. Hand wash in warm water using a mild, unfragranced liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly under running water to clear out the exhalation holes, then allow to air dry completely away from direct sunlight.
- What to Avoid: Do not clean with bleach, alcohol, chlorine, or antibacterial solutions, as these chemicals will degrade the medical-grade plastic and cause it to turn brittle. Never wash this component in a dishwasher.
