About the Product
The ResMed Swift FX Headgear is the genuine replacement harness for the Swift FX Nasal Pillows Mask. Renowned for its minimalist design, this headgear moves away from rigid frames and bulky forehead supports, using soft silicone to hug your face gently.
Over time, headgear can stretch and lose elasticity, leading to overtightening and leaks. Replacing your headgear restores the mask’s original stability and comfort, ensuring you get the most out of your sleep therapy without the need for constant adjustments.
Key Features:
- Soft Silicone Design: The side straps are made from flexible silicone that contours to your facial curves, feeling like a second skin.
- Minimal Facial Contact: No forehead support means a clear field of vision, perfect for reading or watching TV in bed.
- Stable & Secure: Despite its light weight, the headgear anchors securely to the head, staying in place even if you sleep on your side.
- Simple Adjustment: Features an easy-to-use buckle on top and a soft, breathable fabric back strap for a personalised fit.
Compatibility:
- ResMed Swift FX Nasal Pillows Mask
- ResMed Swift FX for Her Nasal Pillows Mask (Note: This SKU is the standard Blue/Gray color, but it is physically compatible with the "For Her" mask frame).
What's Included:
- 1 x Silicone Headgear Assembly (Side straps)
- 1 x Fabric Back Strap
- Note: This purchase includes the silicone nasal pillows cushion only. The mask frame, short tube assembly, and headgear straps are sold separately.
Care and Replacement Tips:
- When to replace: It is recommended to replace nasal pillows every 1 to 3 months, or as soon as you notice the silicone becoming discolored, clear air leaks near the nostrils, or if you find yourself constantly adjusting the headgear to maintain a seal.
- Daily Cleaning: Wash your nasal pillows every morning using warm water and a mild, fragrance-free dish soap or a dedicated CPAP mask wipe. Avoid using bleach, alcohol, antibacterial soaps, or moisturizers, as these chemical agents accelerate the breakdown of medical-grade silicone. Allow the cushion to air dry completely away from direct sunlight before reassembly.
