When headgear stretches, users often overtighten the straps to compensate, which leads to facial soreness, red marks, and air leaks.  Designed specifically for the unique, forehead-support-free architecture of the Quattro FX mask, this replacement headgear anchors the mask frame evenly against your face for an uninterrupted night of sleep.  

Key Features:

• Contoured Crown-Strap Architecture: Features a unique, crown-shaped pattern that sits snugly atop the head. By distributing strap tension across the upper head structure, it avoids putting excess pressure on the sensitive area around the base of the neck.  
• Forehead-Free Open Vision: Works in tandem with the Quattro FX frame to eliminate the need for a traditional forehead support bracket. The straps route cleanly around the eyes, providing an open line of sight so you can comfortably read or wear glasses before sleeping. 
• Velcro Adjustments: Equipped with four independent, durable Velcro adjustment points. Once you achieve your optimal fit, you can secure the tabs and rely on the quick-release clips of your mask to take it off, preserving your custom adjustments and extending the life of the fabric.

Care and Replacement Tips:

• When to replace: It is recommended to replace your CPAP headgear every 6 to 12 months. If you find yourself consistently tightening the Velcro tabs to prevent air leaks into your eyes, or if the fabric begins to fray or pill, it is time for a fresh replacement.  
• Weekly Maintenance: Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild, fragrance-free dish soap or dedicated CPAP soap. Rinse thoroughly to eliminate all soap residue. Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing or twisting the fabric, and allow it to lay flat to air dry completely away from direct sunlight. Never machine wash, iron, or tumble dry the headgear, as high heat will permanently destroy the elastic fibers.
